Plastering & Rendering in Scunthorpe & North Lincolnshire

Plastering is the finish everyone sees. We use the same time-served plasterers on every job so walls go up ready to decorate: flat, clean, straight arrises, no blown corners, no patching.

Every plastering & rendering project, covered end-to-end

Skim Coats

Over-skim tired walls so they're ready for paint. Removes decades of Artex, wallpaper damage and poor previous plastering.

Full Re-Plaster

Strip back to brick or stud, re-bond or re-board, then two-coat plaster. The right choice for properties being fully renovated.

New Stud Walls & Plasterboard

Metal or timber stud partitions, insulated where needed, boarded and skimmed. Used for new rooms, en-suites, walk-in wardrobes.

External Rendering

Sand and cement, monocouche and silicone renders. Crack-resistant meshes on older properties, colour matched to brick or stone.

Damp Plastering

Specialist plastering over DPC treatments using renovating plasters that resist salt push-through. Works with, not against, your damp proofing.

Decorative Finishes

Polished plaster, tadelakt and microcement to specific rooms, walls or feature columns. Specialist finishes done in-house.

Plastering & Rendering FAQs

How long does plaster take to dry before painting?
Skim plaster needs at least 5 to 7 days in a heated room, sometimes longer in winter. Rushing it traps moisture and peels the mist coat. We will tell you when it's ready.
Can you re-plaster an occupied house?
Yes. We dust sheet every floor and door, seal doorways with ventilated plastic and work one room at a time. You'll still get dust, but the mess is contained.
What is the difference between sand-cement and monocouche rendering?
Sand-cement is the traditional two-coat render applied then painted. Monocouche is a single-coat coloured render that includes the finish. Monocouche is cleaner on labour and needs no repainting.
Do you do small patching jobs or just full rooms?
Both. We take small crack repairs, doorway patching and re-skims after boiler swaps as readily as full house re-plasters.
