What brand of paint do you use?
We use Dulux Trade, Johnstone's Trade, Crown and Farrow & Ball depending on the room and finish. Trade versions cover better than DIY equivalents.
How many coats of paint do you apply?
Two full coats on walls and ceilings after a mist coat. Three coats on woodwork if we are going from a dark to light shade. We don't leave roller lines or patchy coverage.
Do you cover furniture and floors?
Yes. Every job starts with moving furniture to the centre, sheeting it, masking skirting and laying proper cotton dust sheets on floors. You should never see a paint splash at the end.
Can you spray a kitchen rather than replace it?
Yes. A full kitchen respray in a modern colour usually comes in under £2,000 and keeps the same hinges, drawers and carcass. A much cheaper option than a full replacement if the doors are sound.
